Refund Policy

Operative policy — pending final owner/legal review.
An archive entry is a digital service fulfilled when the archive page is generated and published. A successfully generated entry is normally a completed purchase and not refundable.
We refund, without argument, when:
- generation permanently fails and we cannot complete your archive;
- you were accidentally charged twice for the same repository and edition;
- the repository became unavailable before we could fulfill the purchase;
- a legitimate operational error on our side affected your purchase.
How it works
You don’t need to ask in most cases — failed fulfillment is detected by our reconciliation checks and refunded. Otherwise, contact us with your repository name and approximate purchase time. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method and typically appear in 5–10 business days; you’ll receive a confirmation email.
After a refund
If an entry was published and the purchase is refunded due to a system failure, the entry may be unpublished. Refunds never create a second charge path: the repository can be archived again normally afterwards.
